The mobile suit Gundam from the animation “Mobile Suit Gundam”. It has been said that the Gundam itself was lost after the battle between humans of Earth and spacenoids. However, a huge quantity of its parts that seem to be from the Gundam type mobile suit has been discovered at Yamashita Pier in Yokohama. Engineers from various fields have gathered at the Gundam Factory Yokohama to research, analyze, and reconstruct its parts. It was as if the process of developing a new Gundam was being carried out all over again.
Finally, the frame is completed, and the startup experiment begins!
An interactive program that provides children with an opportunity to explore the joy of craftsmanship, programming, and future career possibilities while witnessing the life-sized, 18-meter-tall moving Gundam in person.
While looking at the 18-meter life-sized “Moving Gundam,” visitors will learn directly from the GGC technical director in charge of design and project management, engineers who worked on the project, and others involved in the project about the mechanism and appeal of the “Moving Gundam,” as well as the history of the project; a project that brought different specialists together.
